At NewfoundSand, we turn glass waste into reusable sand to reduce landfill waste and promote sustainability.

We're building a greener future by giving glass a second life.

NewfoundSand is a registered co-op dedicated to recycling glass into sand. We work with individuals and businesses to repurpose their otherwise unrecyclable glass waste.

Glass in landfills takes a long time to break down, contributing environmental concerns in our province. But it doesn’t have to. Many communities around the globe know that recycling glass is simple, and it can be turned into a valuable resource: sand. We recognize this as an opportunity for our province.
